THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON




The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is adapted from the story of F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1920 which is about a man who was born old.

As Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans, Daisy Williams is on her deathbed in the hospital. Her daughter, Caroline asks him to read aloud the story of Benjamin Button. This story contains his extraordinary life: The first unusual aspect is that he was born old. He gave little hope to live, but Benjamin would survive, and rejuvenesce with time.

After his mother died, Benjamin is abandoned by his biological father Thomas Button, who was raised by Queenie, an African-American woman employed in a retirement home. The grandmother of Daisy was resident in the latter, and Daisy met Benjamin. While they are separated by their respective ages, Daisy and Benjamin remain in contact throughout their lives.
