THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON




The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is adapted from the story of F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1920 which is about a man who was born old.

As Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans, Daisy Williams is on her deathbed in the hospital. Her daughter, Caroline asks him to read aloud the story of Benjamin Button. This story contains his extraordinary life: The first unusual aspect is that he was born old. He gave little hope to live, but Benjamin would survive, and rejuvenesce with time.

After his mother died, Benjamin is abandoned by his biological father Thomas Button, who was raised by Queenie, an African-American woman employed in a retirement home. The grandmother of Daisy was resident in the latter, and Daisy met Benjamin. While they are separated by their respective ages, Daisy and Benjamin remain in contact throughout their lives. Many of the revelations about the life of Benjamin are difficult for Caroline, as the reunion between Benjamin and Daisy: she matured, and he rejuvenating ...

YES MAN

Yes Man is a comedy movie which is directed by Peyton Reed and starring Jim Carrey. The film is based on the true story and 2005 book The Yes Man by Danny Wallace. Jim Carrey stars as Carl Allen, a man who signs up for a self-help program. The program is based on a simple principle: “say yes to everything”. In the beginning, unleashing the power of “yes” transforms Carl’s life in amazing and unimagined ways. Afterward, he soon discovers that opening up his life to endless possibilities can have its drawbacks.

Australia is an epic-romance film directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. The story happens between 1939 and 1942 in Australia during World War II. When English cattle barons plot to take her (Nicole Kidman) land, she joins forces with a backwoodsman cowherd (Hugh Jackman) to drive 2000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona


The painter Juan Antonio Gonzalo lives in Barcelona. In an exhibition he meets the American tourists Cristina and Vicky, who have their summer holidays in Spain. Vicky’s friend Cristina is fascinated by Juan Antonio. Afterwards, Vicky also discovers her interest in the painter. After Cristina becomes ill and must stay at the hotel, it becomes a romantic evening between Vicky and Juan Antonio. They come closer. Juan Antonio gets a call from the hospital. His ex-wife Maria Elena has tried to suicide. He brings them out of the hospital. It comes to tension between the women. They ended the relationship and moves out. Juan Antonio and María Elena then begin to act like the old days to argue and split. Vicky and Juan Antonio meet again. Vicky has strong feelings for the painter and continues despite their bad conscience for him to go home. When they kiss, María Elena appears with a revolver. It comes to a scuffle in which Vicky readily at hand is violated. At the end, all go their separate ways again.
